How did I get into Dragonball: My younger brother began watching the Mexican dub one day and I got curious about the show about a strong little boy with a tail and a blue-haired girly genius. I finally relented and watched a few episodes. After a while, was watching it religiously and LOVING it. Yes, there was a lot of fighting going on and even though I am a girl, I enjoyed that factor of it. After all, I had been obsessed with Saint Seiya before. However, it was the character development that eventually made me fall in love for life. Yes, the character development. Goku and the gang grow up, get married, change sides etc... there is a lot of this going on in the show.
Then, one day, my dad got us our first computer and afterwards, Internet access… and the rest is history. I couldn’t believe how much DB and DBZ info you could find online! I became totally obsessed and eventually started writing fics and then created my own page. That was in 1997.
How did I get into writing fanfics: I’ve always loved reading and writing. I used to be the best writer in my class and would get A’s in English even in college… Mix that with my DBZ obsession… boom, you have fanfics. I also read a lot of really good fanfics, like Nora, Katchan and got so inspired I had to start my own.
Other Anime I have enjoyed: *gasps* Yes indeed, I have enjoyed other Anime besides Dragonball... Sailor Moon, Captain Tsubasa, Saint Seiya, Ranma ½ and Evangelion. In any case, although I enjoyed those other Animes, my true love is DBZ.

It all began one day back in 1995-1996 when my brother was watching a strange show about a kid with a tail. Soon, I began reading something called "fanfics". I read a couple and liked them very much. Suddenly, I was looking all over for fanfic pages. One day, I thought, "Why not write a fanfic myself?" That was in June 2 of 1997.
And I did.
The results were not the best. In fact, the fic was horrible. I hadn't even watched the whole DB show, much less, DBZ, but I was enthusiastic, and wrote one out in my ignorance and naiveté, let's say.
Want to have a good laugh? If you want to endure it, here I am posing the fic after having erased it from all the fic pages I had had it posted... but I found it in one (since I had even erased it from my own files).

Now, this fic is really awful. It is plagued with bad grammar and horrible spelling... I haven't attempted fixing it. Also, it is in script form, and it deals with the third return of Freeza. Hey, don't blame me, I didn't know he had returned a second time when I wrote it!
So I had written it, what next? I sent it to "Arline's Fanfic Archive". Arline Lyons kindly received it even if it was really, really lame and posted it. Encouraged, I wrote "My Adoptive Grandson", which was much better.
After six months of begin good friends with Arline, she told me, "Why don't you make your own page?" I didn't want to because I thought, "What for, my fics are being hosted anyway, right?", but slowly, she convinced me.... and she even made one out for me December 5, 1997. A simple page with about the ten fics I had written so far.
And so my page was born. I learned to use HTML guiding myself with what the coding already there and thanks to tutorials and trial and error, I soon began improving and personalizing it. I made a vast improvement with Gero's help and it has been going on since then.
Then I decided to leave the fandom forever, at least that's how I felt at the time. I left both the Vega stories and Just a Kiss incomplete. I got married and was very busy with real life.
Then, I got divorced and had some extra time in my hands with a laid back job and no husband... DBZ started calling me again and I succumbed. I have since come back into the fandom since September 2007. I am now a proud member of the DBZ Fanfic Salon and have already written three more chapters for my baby Just a Kiss.
